Sometimes, you just need a quick touchup, which is the best tool. It's always installed on ever computer I have, as it's the perfect tool when you need to dip in, edit some audio and export it to the plethora of available options. I'll see if I'm keeping Audiotonic or changing it to something else.I used Audacity from years back. But I'm not very familiar with Audacity, so I might be wrong.Īnyway, thanks a lot for answering. I haven't paid for the premium version, my version is totally free, and is exactly like the official Audacity, but there is this paid version, which has some other stuff, like burning CD's, etc. It's definitely a scam Audacity has only ever been free. So it's not the official Audacity team, I believe. They say it's based on Audacity, but ported to Windows 10. It's on the Windows Store and goes by the name Audiotonic. There is no such company (as far as I know) involved with Audacity's development, which is only between the Audacity Team and MuseScore's owner. The reviews seem legit, since there are some bad reviews, and when I posted a bad review some weeks ago complaining about a new update, they answered me and other dude who had the same complaint, without taking our reviews down, or asking me to change it. So? How is that any reliable indicator of safety? Reviews can easily be rigged or incentivized. I mean, from what I've read, the Windows Store has a good protection against malware. How is the Windows Store not on the "web?" I got some malware from downloading some stuff, a few years ago, and since then, been extra careful.
